The OCSA is able to measure also the optical phase. The patented method of OCSA is designed FREQUENCY DOMAIN resolution 20MHz (0.16pm) for short pulses, chirp and phase measurements up to 640Gb/s. The temporal variations of the amplitude and the phase are calculated by the Fourier transform, providing the intensity and the chirp or phase as a function of time
